Joshua 1 starts off with new leader, Joshua, having to lead God’s people into a new life. This Messy Church session explores Joshua 1:1-9 and helps us think about the ways God calls us to be brave and courageous as we step into something new. While this session can be used at any time of year, it’s perfect for Back-to-School season, with some activities specifically related to starting a new school year. How can we learn to be brave like Joshua, even when we aren’t sure what’s ahead, trusting God to show us the way?
