[RE] START MESSY is coming soon!
We only have five weeks until October 23. We have prepared for this day for the past eight months. We want to make our first ever nationwide training event one to be remembered! Our twelve trainers met via zoom for over an hour to receive instructions on the revised “Get Started’ training . This revised training will be used for the first time at the six regional locations on October 23rd. It is exciting to see the hard work of our six-member training team, but especially Johannah Myers and Leyla Wagner. This dynamic duo spent many volunteer hours redesigning great visuals, creating a multi-page training notebook, and brainstorming participatory activities that will give teams all they need to jump in and start or restart their local Messy Church.
The writing team is finishing up the “Rooted, Built up and Overflowing” full Messy Church Session based on Colossians 2:6-7. This session will be introduced in the ‘Mini-mess’ section of the RE START MESSY training. All of the churches that register for the training will receive the full session that includes background, ten activities with instructions and pictures, celebration options and even templates for each activity table as well as a take home page ready to print.
Our communication team worked to produce a new video that will be introduced at our event. So, you can see this has been an ‘all hands-on deck’ crew that that is invested in making the RE START MESSY event something not to be missed! There is still room to register at each of the six regional locations!
COVID Precautions
We realize that you may be cautious about an in person training event. We are enacting Covid Precaution Protocols at each location to keep everyone safe. We are limiting the number of participants at each location to keep you safe.
