1 Samuel 3: 1-10

Have you ever awoken in the middle of the night hearing someone calling your name? Like the young boy Samuel, I imagine we would be confused and disoriented. Samuel needed Eli, an older and wise spiritual leader, to help him to take time to listen and then respond to the voice of God he heard calling. Like Samuel, we too need people from various ages to support and guide us to listen closely when we hear God calling us to do something. How many times does God have to call you before he has your full attention?
