Companion Groups are designed to help your Messy Church community go deeper, together. These small, intergenerational groups create space for meaningful relationships, shared faith practices, and ongoing connection beyond your regular Messy Church gatherings.

Built around a simple monthly rhythm, Companion Groups gather around what matters most: a meal, Scripture, creativity, and prayer. Each gathering invites participants of all ages to explore faith not as spectators, but as active participants in God’s story.

What Makes Companion Groups Unique:

• Intergenerational by design – kids, parents, and grandparents learning and growing side-by-side
• No expert required – groups are intentionally “circular,” where everyone contributes and no one leads from the front
• Simple, repeatable format that builds consistency and connection over time

Each Gathering Includes:

• Sharing a simple meal together (because connection happens around the table)
• Scripture reading and wondering as a group
• A hands-on activity to explore faith creatively

Designed for Real Life:

Companion Groups are flexible and adaptable for your context. Groups typically include 3–5 households and meet monthly, allowing relationships to form naturally and rhythms to develop over time .
