We are excited to announce that our in-person Get Started with Messy Church is returning this fall. This training will give your team the vital tools to begin your own Messy Church. You will learn about the history, values, format and best practices to get your Messy Church started. If you’ve already begun Messy church, this is an opportunity to share best practices and gain new ideas for sustaining your Messy Church in your local setting. Messy Webinars
Our Messy Church USA Webinars return in August. These webinars offer your team monthly opportunities to learn and connect with leaders of the webinar and other Messy Churches. For one fee, your team receives both a Learn! and Engage! component.
The Learn! component is a 30-minute content video that will be available throughout the month. You will receive a link to the video and you can watch it at a time that suits your team. link that will be available at the beginning of the month.
The Engage! component is a 45 minute live zoom conversation with the presenter(s) of the video. This will be scheduled towards the end of the month and will be recorded if you are not able to attend live.

Synopsis: Learn techniques for bringing All Age Storytelling into your local Messy Church by one of the best! We are so grateful Martyn has agreed to offer us ideas for opening up a Bible story (the way in), telling the story (the way through) and exploring the meaning of the story (the way out) in this Messy Webinar. Martyn Payne has a background in teaching, Bible storytelling and leading all-age worship, and is passionate about the blessing that comes when generations explore faith together. Currently pastor of a church in Essex, he’s still telling stories!
Martyn’s recently re-released book, Creative Ways to Tell a Bible Story, is available for registrants for an additional $12.00. (Limit of 1 copy of book per team)

Synopsis: This webinar focuses on the 15- 20-minute Celebration worship when Messy Church folk come together in one space for story, song and prayer. The entire Messy Church experience is worship however; the Messy Celebration is what most resembles traditional worship. How can we intentionally plan a short time of gathered community that is engaging and vibrant? Discover resources for song, prayer and participatory in sharing the Bible Story. Roberta Egli, Executive Director of Messy Church USA is our presenter.
